Frequently
Asked Questions.
1- General
Peptides are short chains of amino acids linked by peptide bonds. They serve as important biological signalling molecules and are widely studied in laboratory research for their role in cellular processes, protein interactions, and biochemical pathways.
Yes. Research peptides can be purchased legally in the UK for laboratory research purposes only. All CREW LABS products are clearly labelled “For Research Use Only – Not for Human Consumption” in compliance with MHRA guidelines.
Our products are available to qualified researchers, laboratories, universities, and research institutions. Purchasers must be 18+ and based in the UK, purchasing strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use.
2- Quality & testing
Every batch undergoes independent third-party HPLC analysis by accredited UK laboratories. We provide detailed Certificates of Analysis (COAs) showing exact purity percentages, molecular weight confirmation, and batch-specific testing data.
We guarantee minimum 99% purity on all peptides.
Yes. Our testing includes heavy metals screening and endotoxin testing on key products, ensuring peptides meet research-grade standards for laboratory use.
3- Storage & handling
Lyophilised peptides should be stored at -20°C for long-term stability. They can withstand brief exposure to room temperature during shipping without degradation. Once reconstituted, store at 2-8°C and use within 4 weeks for optimal stability.
Properly stored lyophilised peptides remain stable for 24+ months when kept at -20°C. Each vial includes an expiry date based on stability testing data.
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles as temperature changes can damage peptide bonds. For extended use, consider drawing required amounts into separate containers before initial reconstitution.
4- Ordering & shipping
UK orders placed before 3pm Monday-Friday dispatch the same day. All orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 with full tracking information provided by email.
Yes, we ship worldwide via Royal Mail International and DHL. Note that some countries have customs restrictions on peptides – customers are responsible for verifying import requirements in their jurisdiction.
Free UK shipping on orders over £50. International shipping rates vary by destination and are calculated at checkout.
5- Returns & refunds
Due to the sensitive nature of research peptides, we cannot accept returns once products have been dispatched. Refunds are only available for damaged, incorrect, or quality-defective products, reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
Customers are responsible for import/customs requirements. We cannot offer refunds or replacements for orders seized or delayed by authorities. We recommend verifying peptide import regulations in your jurisdiction before ordering.
6- Compliance & usage
No. All products are strictly for in-vitro laboratory research only. We do not provide guidance on human or animal use, dosing, or applications outside controlled laboratory settings.
Our peptides are research-grade, manufactured to high standards with independent verification. They are not pharmaceutical products and are not intended for clinical, therapeutic, or human use.
